Probate and Administration of Estates

Being an Executor (Personal Representative) of an Estate can be a daunting experience, and completing the legal work can be time consuming and complicated. It is natural to feel confused and overwhelmed.

We want to help.

To proceed with administering and distributing the Estate, you likely need to apply for a court order called a Grant of Probate, or, if there is no will, a Grant of Administration. Our law firm can efficiently complete the Grant of Probate or Administration application for you, while providing you with helpful guidance and advice along the way.

Our firm charges a competitive flat fee for applying for a Grant of Probate or Administration. Most other law firms charge a minimum flat fee plus a percentage of the Estate, which can result in significant legal fees for even a simple estate.

Our standard flat legal fee for a Probate or Administration application is $2,449.00 plus GST, with no added percentage fee or hidden fees. Our fee structure can potentially save the estate thousands of dollars, meaning more money going to loved ones instead of a lawyer’s pocket.

Personal Representative Services

In addition to the legal work, we can also act as the Personal Representative for an Estate for a predetermined inclusive flat-fee. If you or someone named as Personal Representative does not feel comfortable or able to perform their duties, we can take over the administration of the Estate for one reasonable flat fee that includes the cost of all legal work.

Other Estate administration companies typically take a fee of up to 5% of the net value of the Estate, which does not include legal fees for the Grant of Probate or Administration. Our flat fee approach can save the Estate a significant amount of money, while relieving a Personal Representative of the frustration, confusion and difficulty of administering the Estate.
